Jim Barton from the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board (CVRWQCB)has informed our agency that Richard McHenry from the CVRWQCB has recently
been asked to look at the NPDES permit application information. Apparently, a correct application,
General Order to Discharge to Surface Waters, the correct filing fee, and other items specified in the
CVRWQCB letter dated April 20, 2006, have not been submitted to the CVRWQCB. I realize that you
and your consultant are busy but the sooner the requested items are submitted to the CVRWQCB, the
sooner you may be able to obtain an NPDES permit and save money from the costs of hauling off of the
contaminated water that you are having extracted. If I can be of assistance to you this week while Mike is
gone please E-mail me or call me at(209)468-3449.
Margaret
5/30/2006
