As we have discussed over the last several months, CPL's objective in establishing
a consistent technical approach to Old Valley Pipeline sites is to assess existing and potential
future sites in a manner that meets CVRWQCB requirements and allows CPL to move sites
towards closure in a more timely manner.
As described in the work plans for the former Lyoth Loading Station (February 12, 1997) and
Mountain View Townhomes (January 20, 1997), CPL is moving these sites towards closure
following the subject document. Future Old Valley Pipeline projects will also follow this
method.
Thank you for your work in finalizing the Technical Approach to Site Evaluation and Decision-
Making Old Valley Pipeline Sites. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Dan Lapporte
at (510) 842-6718 or me at(510) 842-6877.
Sincerely,
K.L.
