0Corporation
A Mem,0 of The IT Croup
Mr. Joseph Mello
Regional Water Quality Control Board
Page 2 April 12, 2000
The data from the investigation were considered by IT and Pioneer to be insufficient to
assess the northern extent of carbon tetrachloride and chloroform detected in the Upper,
Middle and Lower Horizons north and northeast of the site. Based on this, IT
recommends additional investigation to the north and north-northeast of CPT 11 and
CPT10. IT recommends three CPT points be advanced at the locations shown on Figure
2 and groundwater samples collected from each the three horizons identified at these
locations.
CPT data and groundwater samples will be collected in accordance with the March 3,
1999, Groundwater Investigation Work Plan. A schedule for completion of the
additional investigation is attached.
If you have any questions concerning this letter, or about the project in general, please
feel free to contact me by telephone at(916) 928-3300 or Lisa Tuck by pager at(888)
520-9648 at your convenience.
Sincerely,
IT CORPORATION
Donald P.
