(AGE) has prepared the enclosed Site investigation Work Plan for 120
South Beckman Road in Lodi, Califomia. The scope of work includes the advancement of two soil
Probe borings and the collection of soil samples. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1 -
Location Map. A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2 -Site Plan.
BACKGROUND
It is our understanding that an under ground storage tank(UST)was filled with sand on the site and
therefore closed in placed. However, no soil samples were collected nor was an operating permit
issued for the former tank.
One UST was also located immediately north of the site,at 110 South Beckman Road. The UST
was located along the property line separating the two parcels. PHS-EHD records indicate that soil
samples collected beneath the UST indicated some hydrocarbon-impacted soil was present, however,
the analytical detection limits for the soil samples were above the current detection limits. It is our
understanding that the soil was excavated and disposed at a licenced disposal/treatment facility.
SCOPE OF WORK
AGE proposes to initially advance two soil probe borings at 120 South Beckman Road to determine
if hydrocarbon-impacted soil is present near the on-site UST or near the former UST located at 110
South Beckman Road.
1803 West March Lancs,Suite A, Stocklon,California 95207
Telephone(209)956-0264 FAX(209)956-0700
