This letter is a statement of corrective actions taken to
bring our company into compliance with regulations.
Violation 101 — Corrective Action — Our company obtained a temporary State of California EPA-ID
number from the Department of Toxic Substances Control for the removal of the oil waste on the
premises. We had contacted Andre Amy with the DTSC and inquired to receive a permanent EPA
number, but due to the volume and frequency of pick up for our location, it was advised that we obtain
a temporary number. Please see attached email from the Department of Toxic Substances Control
providing our temporary EPA-ID number for our most recent waste oil pick up.
Violation 122, 125, 128 —Corrective Action — Our company was accumulating waste oil for a period of
years before it was disposed of on 02/04/2011. When the 500 gallon oil tank became full, we called
American Valley Waste Oil, Inc. for collection and disposal who provided us with a copy of a
consolidated manifest. Our company generates approximately 20 gallons of waste oil per year. We do
not have any bill of ladings for the disposal of oil filters as we only generate one or two oil filters per
year (which are the size of a regular automobile oil filter) and are taken to the San Joaquin County
Household Hazardous Waste Facility located at 7850 R.A. Bridgeford Street, Stockton CA 95206. Please
see attached manifest from the previous waste oil collection performed on February 4,2011.
Violation 605&701—Corrective Action—The blue 500 gallon oil tank has been emptied by our waste oil
removal provider, American Valley Waste Oil, Inc. We will no longer be using the tank and it will remain
empty. We will be using a 55 gallon drum as a container to hold our oil waste. It has been properly
labeled with required information and will be properly disposed of within the 180 day accumulation
time limit. Please see attached manifest form from American Valley Waste Oil, Inc.for recent pick up of
the waste oil performed on January 24,2013.
All violations have been addressed and corrected to the best of our ability. Please do not hesitate to
contact me if you require additional information. I can be reached at(209)982-4955.
Sincerely,
Terry Blackburn
General Manager cc:San Joaquin County Health Department Binder
`MP HUNHUNGNGEREERR
7679 S.
