INTI KLEI NFELDER
subject property were made available. Further, the erratic groundwater flow direction may give some
credence to third party claims shotdd they arise."
• "The existence of residual contamination from the leaking underground storage tank and remediation case
on the subject property."
Kleinfelder's scope of work was developed to address current conditions at the site relevant to both
onsite and offsite environmental concerns, including those concerns listed above by NOA. Please
note however that Kleinfelder's scope of work was not developed with the intent to address all
the concerns noted in the prior ESA. Kleinfelder's scope of work was developed to address
reported petroleum impacted soil and groundwater in the UST area, potential offsite sources of
concern, including the northern, eastern and southern property boundaries and to assess the
current groundwater conditions, including groundwater depth, flow direction and groundwater
quality near the border's of the site and in proximity to the former USTs. Soil sampling and
analyses related to a wash rack, storm drain, soil stockpile, chemical storage area and pond areas
were also conducted.
Kleinfelder's findings based on the proposed scope of work are summarized in the following
sections.
36274 / ST03RI919 Page 5 of 19
•D 2004 Kleinfelder, Inc.
