GRO
Texaco Trading & Transportation
December 1996 (9647-0901) a
a
• In addition, the product sample collected at the location of ground water well REW-2 was analyzed for
the following:
• Volatile organic compounds by U.S. EPA method 8260;
• Semi-volatile organic compounds by U.S. EPA method 8270; and
• Carbon ID in soil.
The analytical results are summarized in Table 1. The analytical report and chain-of-custody
form are included in Attachment 3. Concentrations of TPH-g, TPH-d, TPH-o, and BTEX are
illustrated on Figure 5 -Distribution Map of TPH identified Gasoline, Diesel Fuel, Oil and Grease, and
BTEX in Ground Water, October 22, 1996.
FINDINGS
The analytical results of ground water samples collected at the site only indicated the presence
of TPH-d at the locations of ground water monitoring wells MW-E and MW-F at concentrations of
1,000 micrograms per liter (ug/1) and 99 ug/l, respectively. TPH-g, TPH-O, BTEX, and PAHs
concentrations were not detected at the locations of MW-E,MW-F, and REW-1. Additionally, TPH-d
concentrations were not detected in the sample collected at the location ofREW-1.
Field observations indicated product at the locations of ground water monitoring wells REW-2
and REW-3. Chemical analytical results of a product sample collected at REW-2 indicated a TPH
concentration of 483,000 milligrams per kilogram identified in the carbon range Cio-C4o.
•
9647090LART - 3 _
