I have submitted an Encroachment Permit Application with the City of Tracy, and waiting for the permit number. The HASP is from 2012 when we last performed field work at the sites, but the HASP is still applicable for our upcoming field work.The Well & Boring Permit Application checks are in the mail.There are two checks, combining for a total of $2,125. What we are looking at is 8 soil borings on 5 parcels. Permits are issued to APN numbers of parcels, not addresses. A city right-of-way is considered one parcel. 990 Beechnut consists of two parcels,APN23407001 and APN23407006. These require two permits, but I can combine them on one form. There is a site inspection fee of$375 plus 2 permit fees of$125, for a total of$625,just like we talked about. 880 Beechnut Avenue consists of one APN, number 23407045. This requires an Inspection fee of$375 and a permit fee of$125,for a total of$500,just like we talked about. 24 W Fourth Street is not what I was envisioning,when we talked earlier. You have one boring at APN23515025 and another boring in the public right-of-way. You would have done well to keep them both in the public right-of-way. APN23515025, according to county records is owned by the Union Pacific Railroad Company. The permit for this would require obtaining an access agreement from the railroad saying that you are allowed to be on their property and that you would be following all the laws of the State of California. This means that your results your results would be forwarded to us and if it is contaminated, it would show up on the State Registry of Contaminated Sites. I do not believe that they are going to sign this and allow you to drill on their property, but I may be wrong. If they do, It would be$375 inspection activity fee and $125 permit fee for a total of$500. Your last site is on the south side of W 24th Street. It seems to be in the street. If it is in the street,then you need an encroachment permit from the City of Tracy,and the fees for this would be$375 plus$125 for a total of$500.
