Please feel free to call (510) 663-3993 or email z.lauffenburger@amec.com with any questions. <br /> Thank you <br /> From: John Yoakum [EH] [mailto:]Yoakum@sjcehd.com] <br /> Sent: Wednesday, February 05, 2014 1:44 PM <br /> To: Lauffenburger, Zachary <br /> Subject: RE: Well & Boring Permit Application Questions <br /> Zachary, <br /> OK, now that I have the maps and parcel numbers I think that I can give you the information that you need. <br /> What we are looking at is 8 soil borings on 5 parcels. <br /> Permits are issued to APN numbers of parcels, not addresses. <br /> A city right-of-way is considered one parcel. <br /> 990 Beechnut consists of two parcels,APN23407001 and APN23407006. <br /> These require two permits, but I can combine them on one form. <br /> There is a site inspection fee of$375 plus 2 permit fees of$125, for a total of$625,just like we talked about. <br /> 880 Beechnut Avenue consists of one APN, number 23407045. <br /> This requires an Inspection fee of$375 and a permit fee of$125,for a total of$500,just like we talked about. <br /> 24 W Fourth Street is not what I was envisioning,when we talked earlier. <br /> You have one boring at APN23515025 and another boring in the public right-of-way. <br /> You would have done well to keep them both in the public right-of-way. <br /> APN23515025, according to county records is owned by the Union Pacific Railroad Company. <br /> The permit for this would require obtaining an access agreement from the railroad saying that you are allowed to be on <br /> their property and that you would be following all the laws of the State of California. This means that your results your <br /> results would be forwarded to us and if it is contaminated, it would show up on the State Registry of Contaminated <br /> Sites. I do not believe that they are going to sign this and allow you to drill on their property, but I may be wrong. <br /> If they do, It would be$375 inspection activity fee and $125 permit fee for a total of$500. <br /> Your last site is on the south side of W 24th Street. It seems to be in the street. If it is in the street,then you need an <br /> encroachment permit from the City of Tracy,and the fees for this would be$375 plus$125 for a total of$500. <br />
