The information provided below corresponds to each of the designated subsections within Section 2652: 2652(b) Indications of an unauthorized release were witnessed duhng product piping removal activities on November 18,1996 by a representative from San Joaquin County Public Health Services (Michael Kith)and by a representative for Chevron Products Company(Jeff Monroe). Soil samples were wllected at this time to confirm the occurrence of a release and were submitted to a state certified tabomtory for analysis. Preliminary sample results received on November 21, 1996 confirmed the release of gasoline and gasoline constituents to soil beneath some piping areas. Complete copies of these analytical results will be transmitted to San Joaquin County Public Health Services as soon as they become available_ Investigation of the release began with field inspections during UST removal activities on November 18. 1996.Immediate measures to stop the release were taken by removing all product piping.No emergency conditions were present: 2652(c) On November 22, 1996,an Underground Storage Tank Unauthorized Release(Leak) Contamination Site Report(attached)was submitted to San Joaquin County Public Health Services. In addition to the information provided on that report,the following are presented to satisfy all requirements of this subsection: (1) see attached unauthorized release report (2) see attached unauthorized release report. All product piping was removed on November 18, 1996 and will be transported under hazardous waste manifest to Richmond.
