BENJAMIN HOLT DRIVE
STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA
I
Dear Mr. Rogers:
This letter is presented in response to your request for information on the status of the Stockton
Municipal Well #10 (20M2) located on the Swensen Park Golf Course, approximately 70 feet east of
the Chevron site. The well is a seldom used municipal supply well and is screened from 295 to 353
feet below ground surface. The well has been sampled and analyzed for Title 22 constituents from
May 1988 through January 1990 on a quarterly basis (Attachment A). The well was last sampled
March 1991. No benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene or xylenes (BTEX) have been detected in any of the
samples analyzed. Chevron, directed by San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS),
requested that Groundwater Technology sample the well. On March 17, 1992, Groundwater
Technology sampled the well and submitted the samples to Superior Analytical Laboratories for total
petroleum hydrocarbons-as-gasoline (TPN-G) and BTEX analyses. The results of these analyses will
be included in the upcoming quarterly report which is due April 1992 to SJCPHS.
i
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact our West Sacramento office.
Sincerely,
GROUNDWATER TECHNOLOGY,-INC.
; / Lam✓ /" ;
JOHN T.
