Soil sample results;were reported in Blaine Tech Services report dated <br /> January 17, 1989. <br /> 2_ At the request of San Joaquin County Public Health Services,Chevron's consultant,Groundwater <br /> Technology.Inc.(GTI)reported on the operational status and water sampling history of municipal well <br /> #10. The report by GTI(3/20/92)was submitted by Chevron to your agency as well as,to the <br /> CVRWQCB. In their report,GTI discussed plans to sample the municipal well on March 17, 1992. <br /> A copy of GTI's report along with the results from the March, 1992 sampling are attached. <br /> Chevron has had recent conversations with City of Stockton employees in charge of maintaining <br /> municipal well#10. In addition to informing Chevron of the well's current operating status(back-up <br /> fire water well),city employees have forwarded well drilling and completion records.These are <br /> attached for your information_ <br /> 3. Chevron acknowledges the many delays that have occurred in the past as site investigation and <br /> groundwater monitoring activities have been performed:The subject site has been given full priority <br /> and future activities will occur in a timely manner. <br /> 4. Chevron acknowledges that the self appointed schedule for interim remediation has not been closely <br /> followed. Attempts to coordinate remedial action plan activities with planned service station upgrades <br /> has contributed significantly to our inability to adhere to previous schedules. A revised schedule for <br /> interim remediation has been provided above.Chevron fully intends to comply with this schedule. <br /> Hopefully,the information provided above will satisfactorily address those issues discussed at our meeting <br /> last week,Furthermore:, Chevron hopes the provided information will contribute to our regaining <br /> eligibility for the State Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Funds.
