Weber Ave., Third Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Re: Chevron Station#9-4275,2905 West Benjamin Holt Drive, Stockton; CA <br /> Attached Product Piping Removal Soil Sampling Report(Touchstone, 12/22/96) <br /> Dear Ms. Meays: <br /> Attached you will find a report dated,December 22, 1996,which was prepared by Chevron's consultant, <br /> Touchstone Developments(Touchstone),to describe subsurface construction activities that were <br /> 1.performed at the subject site on November 18, 1996. <br /> Concurrent with the removal and replacement of product piping,..soil samples were collected from within <br /> piping trenches and from approximately 240 cubic yards of soil and pea gravel stockpiled onsite..Soil <br /> samples were.analyzed for the presence of TPHGas,TPHDiesel;BTEX constituents,MTBE, and total <br /> Lead. There were low levels(<10 ppm)of motor fuel hydrocarbons detected at nearly all sampling <br /> .locations. Total Lead concentrations were detected and are thought to be representative of naturally <br /> occurring levels. <br /> There were approximately 200 cubic yards of hydrocarbon-impacted soil transported to BFI Landfill in <br /> Livermore,California for disposal.
