The wort:was conducted during the quarter of January through March 1992, Work completed <br /> at the site Included quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling,drilling and sampling three soil borings, <br /> and the installation of two groundwater monitoring wells (MW-6 and MW-7)and one vadose well (VW-1). <br /> 2.0 BACKGROUND <br /> In May 1990, Chevron retained Groundwater Technology,Inc. to Implement additional assessment <br /> at this site, Previous work performed In 1989,by other consulting firms,Included the removal of the original <br /> underground-storage tanks(USTs),performing a soil-vapor extraction survey,and the installation of five,on- <br /> site groundwater monitoring wells. <br /> 3.0 ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT WORK <br /> 3.1 SITE-SPECIFIC HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN/BACKGROUND REVIEW/PERMITTING <br /> Groundwater Technology prepared a Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan required by the <br /> Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) Standard "Hazardous Waste Operations and <br /> Emergency Response" guidelines (29 CFA 1910.120). The Site-Speciflc Health and Safety Plan was <br /> Prepared by a Groundwater Technology personnel,following a complete review of site conditions and any <br /> existing Site-Specific Health and Safety Plans for the site with the project manager.
