CA 95202-1997
August 28 , 1987
Brown & Caldwell
723 "S" Street
Sacramento, CA 95814
Attn: Johanna Ambler
Project Hydrogeologist
MONITORING WELL INSTALLATIONS--BENJAMIN HOLT DRIVE & PLYMOUTH RD.
The City of Stockton has no objection to your installing 3 ground
water monitoring wells at the intersection of Benjamin .Holt Drive
and Plymouth Road as requested in your letter of July 31, 1987.
We will, however, require that the well along Plymouth Road be
installed in the sidewalk area instead of in the street. Since
these wells will be permanent installations, a Revocable Permit
issued by the City Council will be required after which an
Encroachment Permit can be issued to the contractor for the
actual work.
In order for the Revocable Permit to be presented to the City
Council , the following will be required:
1 . A formal application for the permit. This application
should be submitted by the party who will own the
encroachment and, in this instance-, would probably be
either Brown & Caldwell or Arco. A formal application
form is enclosed for your use, if you so desire,
together with a copy of the "Standard Conditions"
referred to in the application.
2 . A processing fee check in the amount of $2'50 made
payable to the City of Stockton.
3. An 8-1/2"x 11" drawing or drawings showing th-e precise
location of the proposed wells. The location of each
well shall be dimensioned to a known point or points.
The location should also be shown with reference to
existing City facilities such as face of curb, back of
sidewalk, etc.
"STOCK TOM- CALIFORNIA'S SUNRISE SEAPORT"
