-a- <br /> +' CITY CC STOCKTON '�++ <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> STANDARD CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO REVOCABLE PERMITS <br /> 1. Revocable permits are granted upon each of the conditions herein set forth which <br /> conditions Permittees agree, by the acceptance of said permits, to faithfully perform, to-wit: <br /> (a) Permittees, their successors or assigns, shall faithfully comply with :the <br /> Charter, all ordinances of the City of Stockton and all provisions of the Stockton Municipal <br /> Code. <br /> (b) That the construction contemplated hereby shall be made to the complete satis- <br /> faction of the Director of Public Works of the City of Stockton who shall be given notice <br /> .,efore construction commences and after its completion. All existing sidewalk and other <br /> public improvement disturbed by the installation. of said improvements shall be replaced by <br /> Permittees, their successors or assigns to the official grade and to the satisfaction of the <br /> Director of Public' Works. <br /> (c) That this construction and installation .shall be in strict conformity with all <br /> of the applicable provisions of the Stockton Municipal Code and permission for the actual <br /> installation shall be obtained from the applicable department or departments of the City of <br /> Stockton. <br /> (d) Permittees, their successors or assigns :shall at all tines maintain said instal- <br /> lation in good condition and shall. immediately repair any settlement of sidewalk, sidewalk. <br /> area or other i-mprovements due to said installation. <br /> (e) Permittees, their successors or assigns shall, during the continuance of this <br /> permit, indemnify and save harmless the City of Stockton from all damages, costs or charges <br /> e` any kind or character arising out of or relating thereto or in any way connected with the <br /> construction, installation or maintenance of the installation referred to herein. <br /> (f) Permittees, their successors or assigns shall, during the continuance of such <br /> permit, be responsible for and pay any and all damages of whatsoever kind or character j <br /> arising o;-.t of or relating thereto or in any way connected with the construction, installation <br /> I <br /> or maintenance of the installation referred to herein. The Director of Public Works may <br /> require, as a guarantee of the good. faith of said Permittees and for the faithful performance <br /> it <br /> of the purposes mentioned herein, that the said Permittees, their successors or assigns shall <br /> file with the City Clerk of the City of Stockton a.good and sufficient bond in a sum to be <br /> determined by the Director of Public Works. Said bond shall be maintained in force for such <br /> period of time as shall be determined by the Director of Public Works. <br /> i <br /> (g) That the Permittees, their.successors or assigns shall, at their own cost <br /> I <br /> and expense, defend any and all lawsuits, if any, arising out of or in any :ray connected with <br /> the construction, installation and maintenance of the installation mentioned herein. <br /> (h) Insurance: The Director of Public Works may require that the Permittee <br /> provide and keep in force during the term of the permit a policy of public liability <br /> insurance against liability for injuries to persons or property arising out of accidents <br /> attributable to the structure on City property, in amounts to be determined by the Director <br /> I <br />
