The results of the survey were used by BC to locate
boreholes for soil sampling. Due to a permitting technicality, the
San Joaquin Local Health District has not accepted the survey.
Therefore, the results are not included in this report.
During May 1987, a prelrainary site investigation was conducted
at the station by BC. The objectives of the investigation were to
determine groundwater gradient, groundwater and/or pieziometric
. levels, identify product in soil and or groundwater beneath the site,
evaluate the site geology, identify any product in nearby wells, and
obtain information necessary for evaluating potential remedial
actions at ' the ' site. The work was conducted as described in EC's
workplan (Appendix D) . This report p pp p presents the methods utilized in
and the results of the preliminary site investigation.
r
I
i
f
