The work was performed on February 11, 1991 through February
14, 1991,under Task Order 2133-91-5A. There are fifteen on-site wells: k-2 through E-12 and
PR-1, PR-2. B1ID-1, and BHD-2 (Figure 1). Twelve wells were sampled during this sampling
event. Two of the wells,E-3 and E-6,were dry and were not sampled. Access to well E-2 was
obstructed by a vehicle and could not be sampled. This report describes the results of monthly
monitoring of groundwater elevations, which occurred on February 11, 1991,
Field and Analytical Methods
B.own and Caldwell personnel measured depth-to-water levels, supervised purging of each well,
and collected groundwater samples at the site.. Refer to Exhibit A for detailed field methods
description.
All groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) and benzenz,
ethylbenzerP,.oluene,and xylenes(BEfX)by Modified U.S.Environmental Protection Agency <<
Method 8015/5030.
Results
The groundwater flow direclion is to the north-northwest. The hydraulic gradient is
approximately 0.003. Comparison of the water levels measured on February 11, I991,with those
measured in September 1990 indicate no significant change in the general groundwater flow
direction or hydraulic gradient. Figure 1 shows the water-level elevations and flow direction
calculated from rte February 11, 1991 data.
j
Jim BENI=
111-m No no 111MENEM, Min
r
