Patterson Pass @ I-580 <br />Tracy, CA 95376 <br />Dear Mr. Holman, <br />K <br />APR 2 8 <br />NVIRONMENTAI_ <br />I ERMIT/SE 1,a6 I N <br />The following is a summary of Ronan tank monitoring equipment that is installed at the <br />above referenced site : <br />Equipment installed on 12-8-9.1.- <br />(3) <br />2-8-91:(3) Ronan KV -700-24 Interposing Relays. <br />• The KV -700 Relays control the power to the submersible pumps. The system is <br />wired for turbine shut down to occur when: <br />1. An alarm is triggered by a liquid sensor, which <br />will interrupt the power to the turbine for that specific tank. <br />2. The power is shut onto the Ronan system. <br />This will interrupt power to all turbines. <br />Existing equipment wired in to KV -700: <br />1) Ronan k76S-A4 Leak Detection System. <br />• Intrinsically safe 4 -point monitoring system, Assigned one alarm point per tank. <br />(8) Ronan LS -3 Vertical Liquid Sensors. <br />(4) Ronan LS -7 Horizontal Liquid Sensors. <br />• 2 each LS -3's per tarns, monitoring fill and turbine sumps. <br />• 1 each LS -7 per tank, monitoring tank annular space. <br />• Total of 3 sensors per tank, wired in series, to their respective alarm points. <br />Sincerely, <br />Stephen Westerfield <br />API/Ronan <br />SALES/SERVICE & SHIPPING/RECEIVING N.W.
