Benjamin Holt Drive .
Stockton, CA
Dear Mr. Infurna:
This office represents Mr. and Mrs.John Clii kscales who are the owners and
operators of a day care center located at 6600 Grigsby Place, Stockton, California and which
is south of the above referenced project site.
Mr. and Mrs. Clinkscales, after a review of the proposed remediation program
with respect to the above referenced site, believe that the investigative work conducted thus
` far is insufficient to indicate whether there has been a migration of contaminants to the soil
upon which there day care center is located and/or to-the'groundwater underneath.
'As a result of-the activities being conducted thereon, at least two of their
clients have discontinued their services and some clients are bringing bottled water for their
f children. It appears that the contamination upon this site uvill have-a serious impact upon
the use of Mr. and Mrs. Clinkscales property. In addition to the foregoing,, Mr. and Mrs.
Clinkscales were concluding a sale of-the property, which has now fallen through.
It is the position of Mr, and Mrs. Clinkscales. that further investigation is
required to'determine the offsite contamination resulting`from the underground storage
tanks on the Exxon site.
