The traffic in the area is heavy, an e '� <br /> licroachtnont permit would be <br /> mquired and based on the number of coverplates, there appears oto be a'n excessive number of utility <br /> lines and pipes in the sidewalk. Therefore,to attain the objectives of cliaracterizing the vertical and <br /> lateral extent of on-site wntarnination in the soils and groundwater in a timely manner, I <br /> recoirunend that we adjust the soil boring locations slightl y as shown on the revised map which is <br /> pan of this fax. The flowor btA north of soil boring B-5 is a rabund Approximattly 4 feet high. <br /> One of the borings, B-2 or B-3 will be converted into monitoring wel[I,MW-4. <br /> We look forward to working with you on this pro.ject.
