Distance to production wells for municipal, domestic, agriculture, industry ,I One on-site irrigation well was destroyed in
August 2000. No other water supply wells
and other uses within 2000 feet of the site; r
were reported within 2,000 feet of site.
2. Site maps, to scale, of area impacted showing locations of former and existing lank systems, In 9985, one 550-gallon
excavation co.Ontours and sample locations, boring and monitoring well elevation contours, gasoline tank was removed
gradients, and nearby surface waters, buildings, streets, and subsurface utilities; from the site.
3. In July 2000, two soil borings
IqDetection limits for confirmation sampling were installed at the site. Soil and groundwater samples from the
Lead analyses borings were non-detect for analyzed constituents, including
Y oxygenates.
FE8. The consultant(San Joaquin
Company Inc)indicates that the lead concentrations are within
the range for natural! !`occurrfn lead in soils in the Trac area.
By Comments:Following tank removal, low levels of petroleum hydrocarbon's were detected in soil and groundwater. in
July 2000, two soil borings (PP-1 and PP-2) were installed at the site. PP-i was installed approximately 30 feet north
Date:
(downgradient) of the former tank pit to a depth of 16 feet. PP-2 was installed adjacent to the pit, to an angular depth }
of 10 feet beneath the pit. 5ai1 and groundwater samples were collected from both borings. No analyzed
i t constituents, including fuel oxygenates were detected in the samples. An' abandoned irrigation wail was located on-
site, but it was destroyed in August 2000. Based on the absence of groundwater contaminants and nearby receptors,
staff concurs with the San Joaquin County staff closure recommendation.
I
