(AGE) on your behalf for the above-referenced site. In this work plan
addendum, AGE responds to EHD's letter dated May 23, 2007, and states that soil gas samples
will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g); benzene, toluene,
ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX); naphthalene, and methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE).
Also, borings proposed for collecting soil samples for analysis will be continuously cored to six
feet below surface grade (bsg) instead of three feet bsg.
In addition, AGE proposes to omit five soil borings to be located adjacent to the north side of the
existing home at 104 West Beverly Place, Tracy, California, originally proposed in Soil Vapor
Survey Work Plan dated April 25, 2007, and approved by EHD by letter dated May 23, 2007.
Four of these borings were intended for collecting soil gas samples and one boring was intended
for collecting a soil sample at total depth. EHD concurs with AGE's decision to eliminate these
five soil borings at this time. However, if analytical results from soil and soil gas samples
collected from the remaining ten soil borings indicate significant concentrations of the chemicals
of concern, EHD may reconsider this decision.
Please submit a boring permit application and permit/inspection fee of $374 to EHD by
September 14, 2007,and notify EHD at least 72 hours prior to commencing the fieldwork.
