\r/ "we
30 June 1997
AGE-NC Project No. 95-0106
3.0. SCOPE OF WORK
The UST site assessment has indicted that petroleum-hydrocarbon impacted soil and ground water
are distributed east of the site. The PHS-EHD has requested the lateral definition of the impacted soil
and ground water, east of the former UST area. AGE has been granted access to the property at 52
West Beverly Place from the owner Mrs. Imagene Green (property owner).
AGE proposes to established two hand auger soil boring to ground water on the property at 52 West
Beverly Place. Both soil and grab ground water samples will be collected from the hand auger
borings. Ground water samples will be collected using polyethylene disposable bailers; samples will
be collected in 40-m1 VOA vials preserved with hydrochloric acid. Soil samples will be collected
from each boring, beginning at 3 feet bsg, utilizing a metric soil sampler and pre-cleaned 2-inch by
6-inch brass sleeves. Store the samples in a chilled container and transport under chain-of-custody
procedure to a state-certified laboratory for analysis. All soil and ground water samples will be
analyzed for TPH-g, BTE&X, MTBE.
Results of the investigation will be reported in a Quarterly Report submitted for the site.
Upon approval of the work plan, we will submit parcel specific soil boring application and fee to the
San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health Division. If you have any
questions or require further information, please contact our office at (209) 956-0264.
Sincerely,
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc.
W
JA&4.'A*
William Little
Staff Geologist
enclosure
cc: Mr. Weldon Church
a:
f
