SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS <br /> The following;conclusions were drawn from the results of the,<site investigation: <br /> • ` ' 'The ground water flow direction was generally northward on 23 June 2004',:at an average. <br /> gradient of 0.007 foot/foot. Ground water elevations decreased slightly but continue to flow <br /> in a northerly direction. <br /> • TPH-g was"detected in ground water samples from monitoring well MW-4,'located down- <br />' gradient off site from the former UST excavation, and in well MW-1 located just north of <br /> the former UST area: <br /> 1 BTEX compounds were detected in the water samples collected from MW-1 and MW=4. The <br /> concentrations of benzene in the ground,water samples collected from wells MWS l and <br /> MW-4'exceeds'the State of California maximum-contaminant level-(MCL) for'drinking <br />' water. <br /> • MTBE was not detected in the•water samples collected from the site -for the second <br /> consecutive;quarter. .'. <br /> 1,2-DCA was not'detected this quarter in the ground water samples collected. <br /> 5:0.
