Groundwater displaced by destruction
activities will be contained and disposed of properly. The wells were constructed with
4-inch diameter PVC well casing to total depths ranging from 26-28 feet bsg. The
boreholes for the wells were originally drilled with 10-inch augers; therefore 10-inch
augers must be used for the destruction.
SJC/EHD approves the proposed destruction of the monitoring wells. Please proceed
with submittal of a SJCIEHD well destruction permit application, required $60.00 permit F
fee and with scheduling the approved work. If you have any questions please call Lori
Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
I
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS Margar Lagorio, REHS
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV Program Coordinator Unit IV
F
t
cc: James Barton, CVRWQCB 4
Rusty Benkosky, Secor International Inc.
l
}
i
