Q <br /> CHRONOLOGY <br /> ARCO STATION #6080 <br /> 85 LOUISE AVE <br /> LATHROP CA 95330 <br /> 09/08/99 Soil samples were collected for analysis this date following dispenser and <br /> product piping line upgrades. Six sample results were positive for TPHg <br /> (range 1.3-6,700 ppm) and two sample results were positive for MtBE (range <br /> 0.93 and 1.71 ppm). <br /> 09/08/99 Notification of Hazardous Waste Discharge #99-120 (Prop 65) filed this date. <br /> 09/13/99 Date that limited over-excavation was performed in areas of dispensers 1 <br /> and 2, soil samples were collected for analysis. Two sample results were <br /> positive for TPHg ( 3,300 and 9,800 ppm) and one sample result was <br /> positive.for MtBE at 0.41 ppm. <br /> 01/31/00 Unauthorized Release Report#00-U05 filed this date <br /> 02/14/00 Notice of Responsibility sent this date to Responsible Party ARCO Products <br /> Company c/o Paul Supple. <br /> 5 <br /> 02/14/00 Date of Environmental Health' Department (EHD) correspondence that <br /> directed submittal of a work plan to begin. the site investigation. <br /> 03/17/00 Work Plan for initial site assessment received this date. <br /> 06/12/00 Three shallow groundwater monitoring wells installed this date. Soil samples <br /> for analysis were collected and they had petroleum contamination. <br /> 06/23/00 Routine quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling initiated this date <br /> and continues to the present time. <br /> 11/07/00 Date of EHD letter requiring submittal of a work plan to define the site <br /> contamination. ARCO's consultant requested an extension of the deadline <br /> to submit a work plan for further investigation until a couple more quarters of <br /> data was available for evaluation. <br /> 02/20/06 Closure report submitted to EHD.this date. MW-1 has been non- <br /> detect for all constituents analyzed for 6 consecutive quarters and below <br /> the MCL for MtBE for 14 quarters. MW-2 has been below the MCL for . <br /> MtBE for 6 consecutive quarters. MW-3 has had only five detections of <br /> MtBE in its history, all below the secondary MCL, and has been non- <br /> detect for all constituents analyzed for the past 12 quarters. <br /> 03/21/06 Revised mass calculations estimate that 237 pounds of TPHg and 0.04 <br /> pounds of MtBE remain in the soil, and 0.0000116 pounds of MtBE remain in <br /> the groundwater. <br /> 06/29/07 Request for Site Closure and RBCA model submitted this date. <br />
