In addition, PHSIEHD staff, imade a site inspection on f
December 6, 2001, during groundwater sample collection for the Fourth Quarter
2001.
The levels of inorganic chemicals and metals evidenced;in the groundwater
samples are low and may be naturally occuring. The groundwater samples being
collected are very silty. Although the water samples are;being filtered in the
laboratory, there is time between their collection and filtering for any
contaminants in the silts to leach into the water. In any case, PHSIEHD
recommends that if the sample results from the December 6, 2001, sampling
event are similar to the previous results, that the monitoring wells be destroyed
and that no further action be required for this site.
If you have any questions contact me at (209) 468-3449:°
'k
Donna Heran; REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
F
Margaret Lagorio, Supervising REHS
Unit IV
i
E c: AGE — Nuel Henderson i
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
