REPORT PREPARATION
Upon completion of field work and receipt of final results of laboratory analysis, a report will be
prepared presenting the findings of the investigation. The report will include a description of the
work performed and results of the sampling and analysis. Conclusions and applicable
recommendations will be included in the report. The report Evill be in a format acceptable to the
FHS-EHD and will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist.
4.0. FIELD PROCEDURES
All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE representative under the supervision of a California
Registered Geologist. Procedures for the excavation and advancement of borings, soil sampling,
equipment decontamination and boring abandonment are outlined below.
4.I. DRY WELL EXCAVATION AND BORING ADVANCEMENT
Each dry well will be excavated using a truck-mounted drill rig and bucket-type augers. The auger
is advanced by rotating into the well (boring) location, The excavated material is collected in a 48-
inch long "bucket", lifted from the boring and dumped. This process is repeated until the bottom of
each well is encountered.
Other soil borings will be advanced using hollow-stens auger drilling techniques. Soil borings will
be either continuously sampled using continuous core sampler and/or drive samples will be collected
at the specific depths.
Adru?+ced GeoEnvironmen(a1,1ne.
