The results of
these investigations have been presented in several reports,
which are listed in Attachment A. These reports have been
submitted, in accordance with your authorization, to the Central
Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) , and the San
Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division. The following presents a brief summary of our findings
to date, and our recommendations concerning them.
Rivkin Property - Results from two rounds of sampling
monitoring well LF-10, located in the vicinity of the
reported former location of an underground gasoline storage
tank, have shown no detectable concentrations of petroleum
hydrocarbons or benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, or xylenes
(BTEX) in ground water. Therefore, further monitoring of
this well does not appear to be warranted.
Area 3 - Milk Barn
Concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons were below
detection limits in well LF-5, located in the vicinity of
the former milk barn, during the three rounds of quarterly
ground-water sampling. Therefore, continued sampling of
this well does not appear to be warranted.
1900 Powell Street, 12th Floor
Emeryville, California 94608
(415) 652-4500
FAX (415) 652-2246
ur^Bnln; 'r viire, G,, TaYuh055ee, FL
