Box 2009 Stockton, California 95201 Attention: Mr. Jaime Favila Subject: Permit Requirements for Proposed Drilling of Soil Borings, Grupe Brookside Development Site, Stockton, California Dear Mr. Favila: As requested by your agency, this letter is to certify that Levine-Fricke will comply with the requirements pertaining to our proposed field investigation of the subject property, which are presented in the attached list. This list was forwarded to me from your office today. Our proposed work plan, which I believe you reviewed in preparing this list of requirements, is outlined in our "Revised Sampling and Analysis Plan, October 28 , 1988" . In response to items 1 and 3 , the laboratory which will be uti- lized in this project is Brown and Caldwell Laboratories, which is certified by the State of California. They are located in Emeryville, California - (415) 428-2300. The driller is Spectrum Drillers of Stockton (formerly Kleinfolder) - (209) 948-1345. In response to item 5, a mixture of neat cement and bentonite or neat cement will be used to fill all borings. With respect to item 7 , if the results of soil analyses indicate the presence of chemicals in hazardous concentrations, Levine-Fricke will assist the property owner, the Grupe Company, in evaluating disposal options for drill cuttings and excavated soils from areas where such analytical results were obtained which will satisfy applica- ble state and local regulations governing such wastes.
