This letter is
being sent to inform you that your application for permit renewal is due on July 17, 2014. Your
permit is scheduled to expire on August 17, 2015.
The application forms can be found at http://wtivw.calrecvcle ca gov/Tires/Facilities/Permit litni.
Please be aware the tire enforcement regulations are undergoing revision. The proposed
regulations can be found at the following link:
httn://wNvw.cal recveIe ca eov/I aws/Rulemaking;/WasteTires/detauIt htin. If they are promulgated
as anticipated, an application for renewal may not be required, and, instead, an application for
'`permit review"would be required instead. Because of this possibility, please submit your
application for renewal marked as a "draft"document. This will allow us flexibility to review
documentation and transfer them to the proposed process after the new regulations are adopted.
If you have any questions or comments regarding this notice or the permit renewal process,
please call me at(916)341-6405 or email me Christine.Kar1 ci'CalRecvcle.ca.eov.
Sincerely,
risti 6c 'arl, nvironmentaI Scientist
Permitting and Assistance Branch
Waste Permitting, Compliance,and Mitigation Division
cc: Barbara Strough, CalRecycle
ORIGNAL ARCdrW ON IW%P0STQ)t.5UMEK(J)NTEN7.PROCPSS CHLORINE FREE PAPER
