Groundwater has been impacted bypetroleum hydrocarbon
contamination at the site. A survey of nearby well receptors has identified your wells located
at a down-gradient direction of the groundwater contamination plume. To protect public
health and ensure the quality of water in your private wells,PHS/EHD strongly
recommends that you allow your wells to be sampled and analyzed for the presence of the
following petroleum hydrocarbons: total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline MH-g),
benzene,toluene,ethyl-benzene, and xylenes, lead scavengers (1,2-DCA and EDB), and fuel
oxygenates.
In a telephone conversation on March 20,2001,the responsible party's consultant Advanced
GeoEnvironmental,Inc. (AGE), stated that you would be provided with a copy of the next
quarterly sampling report for the site, including the analytical results of your domestic well
samples.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Jeff Wong at (209) 468-0335.
Donna Heran,RENS,Director
Enviro mental Healt4Division
c -VLIC--
effrey Wong , REHS Dot Lofstromm R.G.
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV LOP/Site Mitigation,Unit IV
c: Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc. - Brian Millrnan
c: RWQCB, Central Valley Region- Marty Hartzell
c: Ruth Strong--330 E Hollywood,Tracy CA 95376
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
