Total depth of the CPT boring was 110 feet below surface
grade (bsg); water samples were collected at intervals of 64-69 feet bsg and 75-79 feet bsg.
The EHD approves the installation of the two deeper, discretely screened groundwater
.monitoring wells. AGE proposes that the screen interval of the wells to be 60-70 feet bsg.
The EHD recommends the borings for the wells be continuously cored at depth to ensure
placement of the screened interval across a water bearing zone, and that the screen interval
be limited-to five feet in length. The contamination reported in`the 75-79 feet bsg grab sample
must be verified and the vertical extent of the groundwater contamination must be defined.
If you have any questions please call,Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Sincerely,
Lori Duncan, REHS Nuel C.
