Since we just sampled all the wells maybe we
can call the third quarter the annual and start from there._2)Yes DW-5055 and DW-5157 have never really been
on a schedule we need to create one. Maybe every other quarter with both DW's? Or every quarter if you think its
necessary. 3)The owner of well DW=5225 does not want his well sampled. Jeff Wong even tried to get access
and was denied. I remember from talking to him years ago that he is worried w'e will find another chemical of
concern (I did explain we only test for what we are looking for). He operates some kind of car/truck fixing shop of
sorts (you can tell I really know what he does). Anyway back then he.was very adamant about no sampling. 4)
Def. agree about additives, lets get rid of them, I didn't want to start testing for them again anyways (Frank G).
Talk to you soon
Brian
Brian W. Looking over the reports, what do you think of modifying the
sampling regimen for the monitoring wells? Looks like we could,,,go to MW-2A and MW-5 every quarter,
the remainder annually. The sampling of the domestic wells appears sporadic, perhaps increase that a
bit, at least of the down-gradient well (DW-5055). Has the well at the house (DW-5225) ever been
sampled? I don't see it in the QMR. Access issue? Also, I think we could stop the oxygenate and lead
scavenger analysis, the history on those looks good.
Lori
Lori Duncan, Senior RENS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
Iduncan sjcehd.com
(209)468-0337 phone
(209)468-3433 fax
Y
l 8/25/2008
