(AGE) on September 19,
2005. San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has;revieved the work plan dated September 8, 2005
prepared by AGE. AGE proposed over-excavating the petroleum hydrocarbon i'rnpacted soil at the property: approximately
2,500 cubic yards of soil, including an estimated volume of 550 cubic yards of non-impacted over-burden soil.
i
Based on previous excavation projects in the San Joaquin County, the State Clean Up Fund is unlikely to reimburse the
cost of this large volume of proposed excavation. AGE has agreed with EHD toisubmit a work plan addendum that would
revise the proposed volume/dimensions of excavation, including rationalefor the new proposed volume based on the size,
mass, and risk of the existing contamination.
Please submit this work plan addendum to EHD by September 30, 2005.
i
I
regards,
I
Jeffrey Wong
Sr REHS
SJC EHD
C
,i
r F
i#
S
i
.E
I i
iR
s
11 E
36
p
I I
9/19/2005 i
