Box 831 <br /> Manteca, CA 95336 <br /> REQUEST FOR A STORAGE STATEMENT, TED PETER TRUCKING COMPANY, <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> We have received a 28 November 1994 San Joaquin County spill report for the Ted Peter <br /> Trucking Company's Manteca site at 1985 West Yosemite Street. The spill report <br /> mentions the presence of diesel and waste oil in a waste oil storage and aboveground <br /> storage tank area. <br /> Based upon the report, Ted Peter Trucking Company operates aboveground petroleum <br /> storage tanks. Therefore,you are required to comply with the Aboveground Petroleum <br /> Storage Act(APSA). Enclosed for your information is a copy of the APSA information <br /> sheet,APSA law with amendments, and federal Environmental Protection Agency <br /> regulations on oil pollution prevention. Those facilities with aboveground tanks <br /> exceeding a capacity of 660 gallons singly or 1,320 gallons collectively are required to <br /> file a storage statement and associated fee with the State Water resources Control Board <br /> every two years. <br /> By 17 January 1994,please submit the storage statement and fee to the State Board,with <br /> a copy to me. Also by this date,please submit a time schedule to prepare, implement, <br /> and submit a spill prevention control and countermeasure (SPCC) plan. A sample <br /> SPCC plan is enclosed.
