Catellus Operating Limited Partnership is a successor to <br /> SF Transportation. Below is a brief summary of the chain of title/mergers that have <br /> culminated in the succession: <br /> Santa Fe (aka"SF") Transportation Company was a subsidiary of Southern Pacific <br /> Company. Santa Fe Industries and Southern Pacific Company merged to form Santa Fe <br /> Southern Pacific Corporation on 12/31/83. In 1989 its name changed to Santa Fe Pacific <br /> Corporation and the Sante Fe Transportation Company was dissolved as part of that <br /> corporate realignment of entities at that time. <br /> Santa Fe Pacific Corporation merged with the Burlington Northern Railroad to form the <br /> Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway(BNSF). As part of the parental merger, the <br /> company operations were split into the railroad business (BNSF) and a real estate arm <br /> known as Santa Fe Pacific Realty Corporation. That entity held the real estate assets of <br /> the former Santa Fe Transportation Company and Southern Pacific Company. In May of <br /> 1990, the Santa Fe Pacific Corporation changed its name to Catellus Development <br /> Corporation. In January of 2004, Catellus Development Corporation merged into <br /> Catellus Operating Limited Partnership (COLP).
