The surrogate data is outside the QC limits due to unresolvable matrix problems evident in the sample extract. 2. The recoveries of several compounds were outside of QC limits in the LCS. This sample was re-extracted outside of the method holding time,and acceptable QC and comparable data was not observed. The data reported here is from initial extraction of the sample. 3. The sample was received at the laboratory outside the extraction hold time. 4. Due to the sample matrix an initial dilution was necessary to perform the analysis. Therefore,the reporting limits for the GUMS semivolatile compounds were raised. 5. Phenanthrene was detected in the method blank at a concentration of 0.0003 mg/L. The blank value was not subtracted from the analytical result. This sample was re-extracted outside holding time and comparable results were detected. Phenanthrene was not detected in the method blank associated with the re-extract. 6. Phenanthrene was detected in the method blank at a concentration of 0.0003 mg/L.
