The Addendum was prepared for Chevron by
' Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). Following completion of a March 2008
investigation, SAIC proposed in the July 2008 report of findings, that additional soil and
groundwater investigation was needed.
' The California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region, (Regional Water
Board) staff approved the July 2008 workplan provided certain proposed boring locations are
' repositioned to evaluate groundwater downgradient. Consequently, before the workplan could
be implemented, property access conflicts arose and SAIC submitted the April 2009
Addendum.
SAIC proposed the following:
• Reposition seven borings approximately 15 feet to the east-northeast to adjacent
properties where access may be more easily attained.
• The two alternate boring locations suggested by Regional Water Board staff will be
completed.
' • Contingency borings may be completed if affected soil/groundwater is encountered and
access is allowed by the current agreement(s).
' Subsequent to receiving the 23 April 2009 Addendum, SAIC notified Regional Water Board
staff that one property owner requested that the field work be delayed until after the current
growing season ends and the crops are harvested in October 2009.
' California Environmental Protection 11;eng
Va Recycled Paler
