Proposed CPT Boring, CPT#7 <br /> Foothill Engineering proposes to place a CPT(cone penetration test)along the easterly shoulder of <br /> South California Street as shown on the attached map. This CPT will be labeled CPT#7. CPT-#7 <br /> will be pushed to 125ft below ground surface. <br /> Soil Sampling with CPT <br /> Four soil and groundwater samples will be extracted for analytical testing at depths determine by <br /> Foothill and the PHSIEHD representative. Soil samples will be logged and classified by the Unified <br /> Soil Classification System. All soil/water samples will be sealed and placed on ice. Samples will <br /> be transported under Chain of Custody to Sherwood Labs for analysis. <br /> Sample Analysis <br /> Soil samples will be analyzed by EPA method 8021 (BTEX), 5035/8015M (TPHg) and 8260 <br /> j (Oxygenates). Nater samples will be analyzed by EPA methods 8021 (13TEX),8260E(Oxygenates) <br /> and 5030818015M (TPHg). <br /> Report of Findings <br /> A report of findings of each soil and water sample analysis will be issued with recommendations for <br /> future work. <br /> Future Work <br /> Upon completion of CPT#7 the analytical data will be used in the development of a Corrective <br /> Action Plan. <br /> Use of Available Funds <br /> The Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund has not allocated the funds to this site to complete <br /> this work plan. Application for preapproval from the fund will be made after San Joaquin County <br /> Department of Environmental Health gives approval to this work plan.
