14 December 2011
AGE-NC Project No. 99-0682
between 190 pg/I (MW-9) and 220,000 pg/I (MW-8). TPH-d were reported in wells
MW-7, MW-8, MW-10, and MW-11 at concentrations ranging between 3,300 pg/I
(MW-7) and 66,000 pg/I (MW-8).
• Two or more BTEX compounds were reported in wells MW-7 through MW-11 at
maximum concentrations of 14,000 pg/I benzene, 57,000 pg/I toluene, 7,900 pg/I
ethylbenzene, and 45,000 pg/I total xylenes, all in well MW-8.
• Lead scavenger 1 ,2-DCA was reported in wells MW-7, MW-8, MW-10 and MW-11
at concentrations ranging between 5.5 pg/I (MW-10) and 120 pg/I (MW-8). The fuel
oxygenate TAME was reported in wells MW-7, MW-8, MW-10 and MW-11 at
concentrations ranging between 3.7 pg/I (MW-10) and 120 pg/I (MW-8).
• Figure 6 depicts the approximate lateral extent of dissolved COC within this deep
water-bearing zone on-site and off-site.
Water-Bearing Zone: 125 to 135 feet bsq
• Depth to ground water and ground water elevation in well MW-1 C were 26.60 feet
btoc and 13.40 feet below NAVD88, respectively (Table 1).
• TPH-g were reported in the ground water sample collected from well MW-1 C at a
concentration of 300 pg/I.
• Toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes were reported in the ground water sample
collected from well MW-1C at concentrations of 29 pg/l, 6.3 pg/I and 52 pg/l,
respectively.
Water-Bearing Zone: 140 to 150 feet bsq
• Depth to ground water and ground water elevation in well MW-1 D were 27.01 feet
btoc and 13.39 feet below NAVD88, respectively (Table 1).
• TPH-g were reported in the ground water sample collected from well MW-1 D at a
concentration of 200 pg/I.
• Toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes were reported in the ground water sample
collected from well MW-1 D at concentrations of 12 pg/l, 2.3 pg/I and 20.6 pg/I,
respectively.
No additional analytes were reported at or above laboratory detection limits in ground water
samples analyzed. Analytical results of water samples collected in October 2011 are
summarized on Table 2. Graphs depicting trends in depth to ground water measurements
and contaminant concentrations in the monitoring well network are included in Appendix D.
Advanced CeoEnvironmental,Inc.
