l 30 July 2008 AGE-NC Project No . 99-0682 Page 11 of 13 • TAME was detected at depths of 60 feet, 65 feet and 70 feet bsg at concentrations of 0 . 11 mg/kg, 0 . 15 mg/kg and 0.060 mg/kg, respectively. • 1 ,2-DCA was detected at depths of 60 feet and 65 feet bsg at concentrations of 0 . 034 mg/kg and 0 .038 mg/kg, respectively. • The following additional VOCs were detected: 0.23 mg/kg (60 feet bsg), 0 .43 mg/kg (65 feet bsg) and 0 . 070 mg/kg (70 feet bsg) isopropylbenzene; 0 .96 mg/kg (60 feet bsg), 1 . 1 mg/ kg (65 feet bsg) and 0. 16 mg/kg (70 feet bsg) n-propylbenzene; 2.2 mg/kg (60 feet bsg), 0 .22 mg/kg (65 feet bsg) and 2. 1 mg/kg (70 feet bsg) 1 ,3 ,5-trimethylbenzene; 7 . 1 mg/kg (60 feet bsg), 7.0 mg/kg (65 feet bsg) and 0.30 mg/kg (70 feet bsg) 1 ,2,4-trimethylbenzene; 0. 11 mg/kg (60 feet bsg), 0 . 16 mg/kg (65 feet bsg) and 0.020 mg/kg (70 feet bsg) p-isopropyltoluene; 1 .3 mg/kg (60 feet bsg), 2.0 mg/kg (65 feet bsg) and 0.21 mg/kg (70 feet bsg) naphthalene; and 0. 10 mg/kg (70 feet bsg) n butylbenzene. No additional analytes were detected at or above laboratory detection limits in the soil samples analyzed. Analytical results of soil samples are summarized in Table 2. The laboratory report (CTEL Project No. CT214-0803139), quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reports, and chain of custody forms are included in Appendix F. The vertical and lateral extent ofpetroleum hydrocarbon- impacted soil is illustrated on Figures 4, 6, 8, 10, 11 and 12 . The confirmation number for the GeoTracker EDF submittal is 4461705088 . 4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS Based on the data collected at this site, AGE concludes: • The lateral extent of hydrocarbon-impacted ground water within the 60 to 75 feet water bearing zone is defined to the west by boring MW-9, to the south by boring CPT-5 , to the east or southeast with samples from boring B-5, and to the northwest by boring CPT-6; the lateral extent of hydrocarbon-impacted ground water is undefined to the north and northeast as illustrated on Figures 3 , 5, 7 and 9. • The vertical extent of hydrocarbon-impacted ground water his defined outside of the former UST area in every direction as illustrated on Figures 3 , 5 and 7. • The lateral extent of hydrocarbon-impacted soil at a depth of 50 feet bsg is defined to the west by borings MW9 and MW2 and to the northeast byboring MW 10; the lateral extent of hydrocarbon-impacted soil at a depth of 50 feet bsg is undefined to the east, south and north as illustrated on Figures 4, 6, 8 and 10 .
