(AGE ) and has the following comments . <br /> The Report documents a site investigation that was completed in two phases during <br /> February and March of 2008- The first phase included the advancement of three cone <br /> penetrometor test (CPT) borings ( CPT-6 through CPT-8 ) , and two soil borings ( B-5 and B-6 ) . <br /> The second phase included the installation of three groundwater monitoring wells ( MW-9 <br /> through MW- 11 ). Grab groundwater samples for laboratory analysis were collected from the <br /> CPT and soil borings ; soil samples for laboratory analysis were collected during the <br /> installation of the groundwater monitoring wells . <br /> Analytical results from the grab groundwater samples and from routine quarterly groundwater <br /> monitoring events indicate that the highest concentrations of dissolved contaminants at this <br /> site exist at approximately 70 feet below surface grade (bsg ) . The lateral extent of the <br /> dissolved contaminants at this depth is undefined towards the north and north east. In the <br /> Report AGE recommends additional investigation to define the lateral extent of the <br /> contamination to the north and northeast. The EHD agrees that the lateral extent of the <br /> groundwater contamination at 70 feet bsg must be defined . Please prepare a work plan to <br /> install groundwater monitoring wells at this depth in the down gradient direction .
