The unit is characterized by low to
moderate pore pressure.
it Hydrogeologic Unit 5 (HU5) - extends from 127 feet to 131 feet bsg; HU5 consists of sand to silty
sand, characterized by very low pore pressure.
•I
Hydrogeologic Unit 6 (HU6) - extends from 131 feet to 161 feet bsg; the unit is predominately silt
and clay with laterally discontinuous sands to sandy silts; HU6 is characterized by low to moderate
pore pressure.
Hydrogeologic Unit 7 (HU7) - extends from 161 feet to 177 feet bsg; the unit is characterized by a
thick sand interval on the eastern edge of the site which appears to transition to interbedded stiff fine
grained soil, clays and silts towards the west. Pore pressures in HU7 range between low pressures
in the sand interval to moderately low to moderate in the finer-grained soils.
Hydrogeologic Unit 8 (HU8) - extends from 177 feet to 190 feet bsg; HU8 consists primarily of silt
and clay; the unit is characterized by moderately low to moderate pore pressures .
Hydrogeologic Unit 9 (HU9) - extends from 190 feet to 195 feet bsg; the unit is a silty sand to sandy
silt layer characterized by low and some moderate pore pressures.
Hydrogeologic Unit 10 (HU 10) - extends from 195 feet to 200 feet bsg; HU10 is predominately silt
and clay; the unit is characterized by moderate and some low pore pressures.
SENSITIVE RECEPTOR SURVEY
A sensitive receptor survey was conducted for the site. The area encompassed by the 2000-foot
search radius and the water wells located during the search are depicted on Figure 3 in the AGE-
prepared Sensitive Receptor Survey, dated 12 January 2001 .
Drinking water at and near the site is supplied by the City of Stockton municipal well system. The
municipal wells in the site area are maintained bythe California Water Service Company (CWSC) .
CWSC stationnumbers (wells) 42-01 and 53 -01 are both located within 2,000 feet ofthe subject site.
Water well 42-01 was located on East Poplar Street between San Joaquin Street and Hunter Street,
Advanced GeoEavironmental, Inc.
