Wistoric UST Investigation—Work Plan <br /> County of San Joaquin <br /> 630 N.California Street,Stockton,California <br /> April 13,2011 <br /> Page 3 <br /> Each soil sample collected for laboratory a alyses will be cut from the liners. The liners will be sealed at <br /> the ends with Teflon® sheeting, capped, and labeled. Soil samples will be labeled, placed in chilled <br /> coolers, and transported under chain-of-cust dy procedures to Argon Laboratories (DHS# 2359) in Ceres, <br /> California for analysis. <br /> 5.0 LABORATORY ANALYSES <br /> The soil samples will be analyzed for BTE and fuel oxygenates by EPA Method 826013; TPH-G; total <br /> extractable petroleum hydrocarbons (TEPH) quantified as motor oil(TEPH-MO)and diesel (TEPH-D) by <br /> EPA Method 8015M; and LUFT 5 metals ( admium, chromium, lead, zinc, and nickel) by EPA Method <br /> 7420. Laboratory detection limits will be E ufficient for comparison to regulatory thresholds. A 10-day <br /> laboratory turnaround time will be requested. <br /> 6.0 REPORTING <br /> A written report will be prepared detailing the findings of the field work and the laboratory analytical <br /> results. The report will include QA/QC disc ssion, data validation, conclusions, and recommendations. A <br /> draft copy of the report will be submitted to the Client for review prior to finalization. Final reports will <br /> be delivered to the Client and SJCEHD. <br /> 7.0 PROJECT SCHEDULE <br /> We are prepared to commence work upon approval of this work plan by the SJCEHD. The field portion <br /> of the investigation can be completed within one week after the necessary permits are received, depending <br /> on driller availability. A report can be subrr itted to the SJCEHD within two weeks of the completion of <br /> the fieldwork.
