This workplan addendum has been written in response to the San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department (SJCEHD) letter dated March 22, 2004 (Attachment A). The SJCEHD letter directs
the following amendment to URS Workplan for Groundwater Monitoring and Remediation Well
Installation dated February 42; 2004:
Ym 'FIgp `7I
1. Submit a workplan by April 30, 2004, for a pilot test to evaluate the proposed IAS system. Also
include an estimate, with calculations and assumptions, of the hydrocarbon mass at this site.
URS concurs with the above directive and therefore proposes to install one AS well to a depth of 65 feet
below ground surface for the purpose of conducting an AS pilot test. The proposed location of the
single AS well is shown on the amended Proposed Well Locations map (Figure 2). All permitting,
drilling, soil sampling, laboratory analysis, lithologic logging, well construction, and well surveying
details as written in the URS Workplan for Groundwater Monitoring and Remediation Well Installation
dated February 1%Z, 2004, will apply to the installation of the proposed single AS we]I.
dr* 4/c1l04
URS will produce a pilot test workplan with site hydrocarbon mass calculations (and assumptions used
for the calculations) following installation of the AS well.
r
URS Corporation
Crown Corporate Center
2870 Gateway Oaks Drive,Suite 300
Sacramento,CA 95833
Tel:916.679.2000
Fax:916.679.2900
