Startup data will be evaluated to-determine
the remediation system performance. j
URS will submit a workplan for the installation of the new wells with the appropriate permits and fees
following approval of this SVE workplan.
Task 3—Installation Technical Report
Approximately 6 to 8 weeks following completion of the above installation field activities,URS will
prepare a report summarizing the system installation and initial analytical results.
Task 4—Remediation System Operation and Reporting
Performance of the remediation system will be included in the site Quarterly Monitoring Reports. The
remediation system will be operated until remediation goals are achieved, or until such time as the
remediation effort is shown to be no longer technically or economically feasible.
Throughout the life of the system, operations will be monitored to verify permit compliance and to meet
permit reporting requirements. Groundwater monitoring and sampling will continue to be performed at
the site as required.
System efficiency reporting will include summaries of mass extracted, mass extraction rates, and any
modifications to system operation that may have changed mass extraction rates. Groundwater
concentrations will be compared to their respective remediation goals to evaluate the progress toward
termination of femediation at the site. Influent vapor concentrations will be used to evaluate the progress
of remediation of impacted soils.
Permitting
S-C•o u,v V
SJEFID and the City-of-Stockton require that permits be obtained prior to drilling and installation of
SVE and air sparge wells. URS will submit the appropriate permit application(s)to the SJEHD and the 1
City of Stockton prior to conducting field activities.
