L 14 June 2004
AGE-NC Project No. 04-1180
L. -
r 5.0. SUMMARY AND`CONCLUSIONS
7. ;
Based on the data collected from the site in this and the previous investigation,AGE finds.:
Brown sandy-silts and silty-sands were encountered in each of the borings: Samples-were_
moist to saturated starting at 40 to 45 feet bsg.Organic vapors were detected in soil:samples
from both borings beginning at depths of 30 feet bsg. -
• Low concentrations of dissolved TPH-g were detected in the ground water sample collected
r from boring P 1,near the assumed former location of the.USTs and/or dispenser island.This
data suggests that the former utilization of the site as a gasoline fueling facility has impacted
the subsurface at the site.. r
L
6.0. RECOMMENDATION
Based on the data collected.from the site in this and the previous investigation,it likely that the site
will be placed into the Local Oversight Program-_(LOP) by the. SJCEHD. Therefore, AGE
recommends:
r Additional investigation to determine the lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-impacted
groundwater at the site. This would likely include the installation of groundwater monitoring
wells to determine a site-specific groundwater flow direction.
LO
7.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities: The findings were.based upon
analytical results provided by an-independent laboratory: Evaluation of the geologic/hydrologic
conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation was made from a limited number of
available data points(soil and groundwater samples)and subsurface conditions may vary away from
L, these data points. No other warranty, expressed or implied;, is made as to the:professional
interpretations, opinions and recommendations contained in this report.
L
V - Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc. -
