( WE) <br /> j has completed additional environmental services ion the property located at <br /> 1617 North California Street in Stockton, California. These services were <br /> performed under the service agreement between ivir. Charles Green/Walnut <br /> Street Medical Center and NWE. The scope of'serviccs is summarized as <br /> follows: <br /> • Conduct hand augering in the vicinity of 'the geophysical anomalies I <br /> previously identified during the January 10, 1994 geophysical <br /> survey by NORCA.L Geophysical Consultants, Incorporated to a <br /> xnaxximurn depth of 10 feet below ground surface. Soil encountered <br /> during augering will be visually examined and described on boring h <br /> logs and obstructions encountered that may indicate the presence of <br /> an Underground Storage Tank (UST) will be noted. Soil samples <br /> will be screened for the presence of organic vapors in the field nsi.ng <br /> a photoionization detector. The total number of hand angered <br /> borings that will be required can not be determined, however, it is <br /> anticipated that field work will require a maximum of one day, <br /> • Provide a report (2 copies) documenting the findings of the <br /> investigation and making recommendations for additional actions as <br /> necessary. <br /> 1 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> On February 11, 1994 two (2) representatives from NWE completed five <br /> (S) hand augered soil borings (B-1 through B-5)11to a maximum depth of ten (10) <br /> feet within the vicinity of the geophysical anomalies previously identified near the <br /> southeast corner of the subject Property.
