This plan accompanies the encroachment permit
application for the work. The assessment activities consist of exploratory soil borings
and groundwater monitoring well installation activities at two locations on City of
Lathrop right of way:
• Location 1 (MW-8)is on Louise Avenue in the eastbound lane and will be located a
minimum of 4 feet north of the curb and approximately 80 feet east of the sidewalk
barricade located at the entrance to the Libby Owens Ford facility.
• Location 2 (MW-9)is on the sidewalk along the western edge.of Cambridge Street
and is approximately 100 feel north of Louise Avenue.
Drilling and well installation activities will be conducted consistent with the Work Plan
for Additional Site Assessment(IT, May 15, 2000) that was submitted to and approved
by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division
(PHS-EHD). Drilling permit applications have also been submitted to the PHS-EHD.
The drilling and well installation activities, required paving to replace the portions of
street and sidewalk at each location, and groundwater sampling activities will require
lane closure and traffic control consistent with CalTrans Standard Plan Til. A copy of
Standard Plan T1 is presented as Attachment A.
